Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Delhi transfer to Domestic airport after 3 hrs fly to Leh

Day 2 Arrival Leh airport meet our staff and transfer to hotel after rest and acclimatize 

Day 3 Monastery excursion

After breakfast drive for the monastery tour for acclimatize visit shey monastery and palace, Thickset monastery, Hemis monastery and museum  drive back to Hotel

Day 4 Deive Leh to Spituk start trek to Jengchan

After Spituk village cross the bridge walk on the drizzled land for two hrs and after enter the valley easy to Jengchan camp

Day 5 Jengchan to Yurutse, Kandala base 

After the camp ascent gradually along the small river easy to Rumbak after 2hrs from the village camp near the mountain side camp

Day 6 Yurutse to Skeu 

After the camp gently ascent to kand la  for 3 hrs from the pass very beautiful view of Zanskar range and Stok Kangri peak all the way down  by passing shingo village camp at Skeu camp

Day 7 Skeu to Markha

along the markha valley little up and down along the river side some times shadow from trees and many small tea shop camp near by the small monastery camp

Day 8  Markha to Thochungtse

the day easy walk along the river side of the markha valley cross the wooden bridge camp near river side camp

Day 9 Thochungtse to Kangyatse base camp

From the camp gently ascent to base camp of Kangyatse peak from the camp very nice view of Zanskar range and Markha valley the camp is 4700m camp

Day 10 Kangyatse peak summit. 6428m

Morning 2 Am start climbing with guide 7 hrs to Summit 4 hrs down to the camp you can climb up to shoulder of Kangyatse peak, easily, you don’t need technical equipments,just you need  rope, ice exe, crampon, harness, and good jacket, pants, climbing shoes, gloves, caps. The shoulder is 6128m, if you trying to climb summit 6428 then you need extra 2 days and very technical climbing about 90 degrees, so would like to sagest to you climb up to shoulder camp      

Day 11 Kangyatse base to Chuskurmo village via Kongmaru la 

From the camp easy two hrs to summer sheep huts camp of Markha village and after one hrs to pass beautiful view of mount  Kangyatse 6400m and zanskar range after the pass two hrs steep down and then narrow valley until the camp at chuskurmo camp

Day 12 Chuskurmo to Shangsumdo

From the camp easy down along the river to shangsumdo village camp

( from here if you like to continue the trek to Stok kangri you can start continue 6 day including climbing stok kangri and one day back to Stok village and drive to Leh for continue trek I will send you itinerary )

Day 13 Shangsumdo to Leh 

After camp drive to Hemis visit Hemis monastery and drive back to Leh 

Day 14 Transfer to airport and fly to Delhi, 

meet our Staff and transfer to hotel 

After lunch visit old Delhi, evening transfer to International airport and fly
